Every other year Stoa member families vote for a Wildcard Speech Event. For the 2023/2024 season, Interp in a Box was the selected event. Voting for the next Wildcard event should take place at the end of the 2024 season. Therefore, the 2024/2025 season will have a NEW Wildcard event.

The age range for Verity’s Varsity speech events is 12-18. Your child’s age is evaluated as of October 1st each year. Therefore, if your child turns 12 on October 2nd, for Verity, and our national league (Stoa), their age for the year would still be 11.
